In these classes we will cover loose lead walking, recall, engagement with human, resigning from a resource (leave it/drop it), disengagement from exciting things in the environment and many more skills needed for harmonious daily life with your dog. We will also work on building confidence, body awareness, fun skills and speak a lot about dog training and behaviour science.
Price: £60 per month
There is no deadline for your training goals to be achieved. By making these classes run as a membership, you don’t have to worry about doing all your training in a few weeks and being left alone without continuation after. You can attend as long as you want and cancel your membership when you feel ready to take the training into your own hands. You will get a personalised training goals card with goals that are specific to your and your dog’s needs. No dogs have been created equal so their training shouldn’t be either!
We took our dog Olive to two different puppy classes before finding Green Dogs, but found that once the 6–8 week courses had ended, there was no way to continue progressing. What we love about Marta’s group classes is that they’re run on a rolling basis, so we can attend for as long as we want, and keep building on Olive’s training, particularly around other dogs. The outdoor sessions are also an added bonus for applying training in 'real life' environments. The exercises in class are really tailored to each dog’s capabilities, and we’ve seen such a positive difference in both Olive's confidence and overall obedience. Thanks Marta!
